bluMe Pro features Sony’s Hi-Res wireless audio codec LDAC™, which provides an enhanced wireless listening experience for all your music via Bluetooth. LDAC maintains maximum bit depth and a frequency range of 96kHz/24-bit during transmission and is capable of high compression efficiency and reproduction.
Unlike any other Bluetooth audio codec, LDAC allows you to listen to high-resolution audio content in exceptional sound quality, transmitting at a maximum transfer rate of 990 kbps. This is approximately two times the data available with Qualcomm® aptX™ HD and three times the data available with standard Bluetooth codec (SBC).

It would probably be better hooked up to a better sound system. I have it in my kitchen hooked up to a Bose wave system, and I really can’t tell much of a difference.
Extremely easy to set up and pair with my iPhone. The sound coming out of my stereo is crystal clear. I love my bluMe!
I just upgraded from the bluMe HD to the bluMe Pro, and I am happily surprised. I read lots of reviews, and many Say it wasn't worth the upgrade, and I believe that's true for them. But if you have critical listening ears, it's worth every penny. I love my two bluMe HD in the shop and Bedroom. The bluMe Pro is parked in my living room with my vintage system. I recommend the HD to my friends, who have been happy with it. However, if you have a high-end system, you'll be pleased with the bluMe Pro. Oh yeah, i didn't mind that 25% discount either.
